Hello, KC Tar Heels. The Tar Heel Express keeps on rolling, and that train is getting hot at the right time. Unfortunately this also applies to Duke, but it is time to cool them off (if VT doesn’t do it in the next couple hours). I hope the team is not looking past the Miami game, but we fans are allowed to do that. So let’s get ready to sweep Duke!
As I’m sure I don’t have to tell most of you, the Duke game at Cameron (aka Hansbrough Indoor Stadium) will be on Saturday at 7:15 p.m. I will do everything in my power to make sure we have a good spot at the Peanut in Overland Park. They don’t take reservations on Saturdays, but they have been great about making sure that we get a prime table, and KU will be long done by then. Please let me know if you plan to come out and join us, so I can give them fair warning about what to expect.
As a side note, the waitress at the last game said we were her favorite group to wait on, so thanks to all who have been there and been polite enough to give our group a good reputation. Or maybe she just wanted a bigger tip, I’m not sure. Anyway, let’s keep that part of it going as well.
